regarding our upcoming club meetings, activities, & events. You are welcome
to contact the Giles County Extension Office to sign up/RSVP for any of these
activities. We would also be happy to answer any questions!
Upcoming 4-H Events:
Monday, May 5-
Narrows Now 4-H Club Meeting
Come and plant with
us! Meeting at 6:30pm at the Narrows Community Center
Wednesday, May 7- VCE
Resolution to the Giles County Board of Supervisors
At the 3pm meeting of
the Board of Supervisors, a resolution will be read recognizing May as National
Cooperative Extension Service Month in honor of the Cooperative Extension
Service’s 100th anniversary! Feel free to join us at the Board
Meeting to show your support for all Extension programs.
Saturday, May 10-
Narrows Kids Fishing Day
4-H will have a fish
printing area and many other organizations and vendors will be set up! Gates
open at 8am, children under 8 start fishing at 9am, and all other youth are
invited to fish 10am-2pm.

Wednesday, May 14-
4-H Teen Leadership Club Meeting
This group is open to
any teenager in Giles County! We meet at the Extension Office beginning at 7pm.
This month we will be working through some teambuilding challenges and games.
Thursday, May 15th-
Annual Pumpkin Planting Workshop to begin at 6pm. Stay tuned for details about
location!
Friday, May 16th-
Join Giles County 4-H for ‘Movie at the Market’ beginning at 8:30pm! Come out
early to enjoy the farmers market vendors and attractions! Located in Narrows
right off of Rt. 460.
Monday, May 26th-
Rich Creek 4-H Club Meeting
Beginning at 6:30pm
in the Rich Creek Library. This month we will be exploring Citizenship!
All 4-H Club Meetings
& 4-H Events are open to all youth and their families! You are welcome to
contact the Giles County Extension Office for more information or to suggest
program ideas.
